String Quartets

The CHS Orchestra has a tradition of fostering excellent student string quartets. These ensembles perform at a wide variety of school, university, and private functions in Charlottesville, and are available for hire at reasonable prices.  CHSO String Quartets were named “Best Ceremony Musicians” by C’ville  three consecutive years!

Student string quartets are self-directed; Ms. Thomas serves in a mentor capacity, coaching occasionally and providing ideas and resources for music.
